About these terms
"We", "us" and "UHL Developers" mean UHL Developers, a web development agency based in Islamabad, Pakistan. "You" means the person or business using our website or services. By using this website or accepting a quote from us, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and scope
Every project starts with a written quote or proposal listing what we will deliver, the price, the timeline and the number of revision rounds. Prices on our website are starting prices; your quote is the final price for the agreed scope.
Work outside the agreed scope, such as extra pages, features or revision rounds, is quoted separately and only started after you approve it in writing.
Payment
- Payment terms, such as an upfront deposit and milestone payments, are set out in your quote.
- We start work once the first payment is received, and hand over final files and access once the project is paid in full.
- Prices are in US dollars unless your quote says otherwise. Bank, transfer and currency conversion fees are paid by the sender.
- Third-party costs, such as hosting, domains, premium themes, plugins, apps and advertising spend, are paid by you directly to the provider unless your quote says otherwise.
What we need from you
To deliver on time we need your content, images, logins and feedback when agreed. If materials or approvals are delayed, the timeline moves by the same amount. You confirm that you have the right to use any content, logos, images or data you give us, and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
Ownership of your website
Once the project is paid in full, you own the final website, design and custom code we created for you, along with your content and domain. Third-party software such as WordPress, Shopify, themes, plugins and fonts remain under their own licences, which we set up in your name where possible.
Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished website in our portfolio and mention you as a client. We will never share confidential information about your business.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing. You pay for the work completed up to that point, and any payment for work not yet started is refunded. Payments for completed milestones, delivered work and third-party costs already incurred are not refundable. Monthly maintenance and advertising management can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
Launch, warranty and support
After launch we fix any bugs in the work we delivered, free of charge, during the support period stated in your quote. This does not cover problems caused by later changes made by you or others, plugin, theme or platform updates, hosting issues, or new features. Ongoing updates, backups and security are available through our maintenance plans.
SEO and advertising results
We use proven, ethical methods for SEO and advertising, but search engines and ad platforms control their own rankings and results. We cannot guarantee a specific ranking, amount of traffic, number of leads or sales. Advertising spend is paid to the platform and is not refundable by us.
Limitation of liability
We work with care and skill, but to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country.
Using this website
The content on this website is for general information and may change without notice. You may not copy our designs, text or code for commercial use without permission, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site.
Some links are partner or referral links. For example, if you buy Hostinger hosting through our link or code, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we use or have tested ourselves.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. We always prefer to resolve any problem by talking first: email team@uhldevelopers.com and we will reply within 30 minutes during our working hours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date you accept a quote applies to that project.
